    New Year's Resolutions 2012.

This post took quite some time because I didn't really think about my resolutions.
So here it is, just 5 main ones to start with!

    1. Lose 10kg. I'm not freakin' kidding, lol!
I mean, I gained A LOT of weight during the O'Level period and afterwards 'cause mugging for such major exams means not leaving your seat for a very long time while camping on the study table with snacks and sweet drinks around you. Making it worse, Gabe practically stuffed me with "outside food" non-stop after O's because he had an excellent appetite after he "accomplishes" something (in this case, O's). Like OMGIKR! So we kept eating out (which is freaking unhealthy btw). My crazy diet explains my crazy weight gain.

I'm nearly done with this resolution and it's only the beginning of the year!!! (GOOD SIGN.)
It's like only 5th Jan!!! ME GUSTA.
I lost like 4kg already, within 5~6 days. So my weight has been maintained since. #happy :D
6 more kilograms to go, but I plan to lose another 2~3 before Chinese New Year. (Will update if I accomplish this mini-goal!) #chiongahhh #nopainnogain >:(

    2. Enjoy and be contented with my decision on my next milestone in education.
This may sound like a piece of cake to most, like just "make a good decision and follow through!" But seriously, I think it's pretty challenging, really.

Let me break it down. My very initial "PLAN A" was to go into a polytechnic with a course that I'm really passionate about (not revealing, yet). So I gauged my L1R5 (I know poly uses L1B4, but just for simplicity's sake) to be about 13~15, 'cause that's like a "poly safe-zone" for me. Not extremely hard to achieve, yet not too bad as well. Think about it, my prelim L1R5 was 29~30. Trollolololol!

BUT. What if I get >15 points? Of course I need to choose another poly course or risk being the bottom in my above-mentioned mystery course. (Like duh #captainobvious strikes again.) Unfortunately my well-planned "PLAN A" dream might very well just burst into flames loh! *cries* )':

ANOTHER BUT. What if I get <12 points?! Most of y'all would be like "YOU SIAO UH?! GOOD WHAT,  MORE CHOICES!!!" or "WALAO EH AMBITIOUS BITCH OVER THERE THINKING THAT SHE'S ALL THAT. TSK!" Whatever your reaction might be, I'm just tryna include all possibilities so that I can try to be mentally prepared for whatever circumstance I'm faced with this coming Monday (9th Jan). I certainly don't know why I had to justify myself -.-

I mean, call me weird, but I rather me get a worse result than what I gauged than do better than expected. 'Cause think of it this way, I already mentally prepared myself to be in a polytechnic since the start of 2011, maybe even earlier. So even if I get >15, I'm still the typical polytechnic scorer kinda student right? Then imagine me doing better than expected... ALL HELL BREAKS LOSE IN MY HEAD! Like wtf, I'll be facing pressure from all directions, convincing me to go to a Junior College. I'll be pressurising myself to make a decision between JC and Poly too, just because I did better than expected! PLANS ALL THROWN OUT THE WINDOW WITH NO SHIT LEFT.

SEE WHUT I MEAN MY LITTLE SWEET ANGEL FACES?! #hardlifedecisions

Now all I can do is stop worrying, hope for the best, and that I'll make a good decision. 'Cause I believe that we will all get what we deserve. #allthebest : )

    3. Save for rainy days. Damn freakin' important!
Pretty much self-explanatory since I'm a shop-a-holic. Like, I admit I have problems kinda 'cause I spend a lot more than I should and cause my mom and boyfr. to be very extremely worried for me. *extremelyguilty :(

More or less, I know what is the root of this very bad problem, so I really wanna kick the habit/overcome this obstacle. I know this "problem" wouldn't really go away but at least I wanna restrain myself and/or achieve some form of self-control. And on practical terms, I wanna see my bank account having 4-digits by June. (Yes I'm broke 'cause I bought myself a piano in 2010.)

I see myself progressing slightly! *celebratesmallsuccesses! :) At least I spend lesser as compared to previously. But I still have A LOT of room for improvement so I'm gonna continue working hard!!!

    5. Maintain the state of my room after revamp 100% completes.
Two things: I'm messy and lazy sometimes + I now have A LOT of items in my room (so basically I have to keep everything really organised the way it's gonna be after revamp).
    'Nuff said.

So these are my 5 main/major resolutions. Of course I have "mini" ones in my head to get along the year but yeah, these 5 are for sharing and also for constant self-reminder : )

I look forward to seeing all these marked out by the end of 2012!!! :D

Once again, Happy New Year to all and best wishes! x♡x♡
